Middle School youth The Confirmation class is designed as a three-year model. The first year emphasizes the Old Testament, the second year, the New Testament, and the third year, missions and "What It Means to Be Presbyterian." This class makes crafts monthly to give to persons in a near-by retirement home. During these visits, we share breakfast and fellowship. The curriculum includes memorization of Bible verses and a general familiarity with the Bible itself.
Senior
High youth
use a variety of short-term Bible studies throughout the year.
Youth
Fellowship
is offered for both Junior Highs and Senior Highs at 6 p.m. on Sunday evenings
– September through May. A snack
supper is provided by different parents for both groups before the groups divide
for their programs. In addition,
retreats, mission trips and fellowship times are planned throughout the year.
Currently four classes are offered on Sunday mornings for
adults. Each class selects its curriculum for the year using the
Presbyterian curriculum as well as special study books.
Additional
opportunities for Bible study are offered throughout the year at various times
– examples: Women’s Bible
studies, Lenten Luncheons with Bible study.
