Everyone in the church family is reminded that there are large print hymnals and listening aids available for personal use during the worship services. Please contact one of the ushers if you or someone you know are in need of  these items to make your participation in worship services more meaningful each week.

Opportunities to Help
Members of Circle 3 of the Presbyterian Women are sponsoring a collection of items to send to the war torn area of Afghanistan.
Suggested items are chewable children's vitamins,  powdered infant formula, and stuffed animals.

Haiti Relief Efforts
Our PCUSA has already sent $100,000. Anyone wishing to contribute may do so by sending a check payable to First Presbyterian Church. The money will be forwarded to PCUSA.

Prayer Ministry

     Prayer ministry is available in the parlor (first room on the right) immediately after the worship service
     each Sunday for anyone who desires prayer for personnel needs or for the needs of a loved  one.

Search for a Director of Christian Education
    A search committee was presented to the Session at our recent Session Retreat, as well as the
     job description, for the staff position of DCE. The search committee is as follows:

Special Note:
Lauren Kay has joined the church staff as interim DCE while the Search Committee continues its work.

Automated External Defibrillator ( AED )
     We are happy to report that an Automated External Defibrillator   AED is now available
     for use in our church buildings. It is mounted on the wall outside the sanctuary. Signs will be installed at the
     entrances to the buildings indicating the availability of this life saving tool. Look for further information.
