Please contact one of the ushers if you or someone you know are in need of  these items to make your participation in worship services more meaningful each week.

Prayer Ministry

     Prayer ministry is available in the parlor (first room on the right) immediately after the worship service
     each Sunday for anyone who desires prayer for personnel needs or for the needs of a loved  one. 
 

Elder Nominations

    Members of the Elder Nominating Committee are beginning the important task of selecting nominees
    for the Elder Class of 2012. Anyone who has suggestions for possible nominees is asked to contact
    a member of the committee: Patsy Adams, Jennifer Brown, Josh Kay, Wayne Neal, or
    Ellen Gray Williams.

Search for a Director of Christian Education
    A search committee was presented to the Session at our recent Session Retreat, as well as the
     job description, for the staff position of DCE. The search committee is as follows:

Automated External Defibrillator ( AED )
     We are happy to report that an Automated External Defibrillator   AED is now available
     for use in our church buildings. It is mounted on the wall outside the sanctuary. Signs will be installed at the
     entrances to the buildings indicating the availability of this life saving tool. Look for further information.

   Looking for Opportunities for Christian Education?

     Preschoolers
            Music time and Bible lessons are provided by teachers and caregivers during Sunday School time
     on Sunday mornings.
      Elementary school grades (1-5)
             These students are studying the Teachings of Jesus.
      Middle School students grades (6-8)
             These students are part of the Confirmation Class and are concentrating on pre-teen skills.

  ( Note: We are looking for teachers for Summer Sunday School. Anyone interested please
      contact the Church Office.  Opportunities for just one Sunday or multiple Sundays for the summer are available.)

      "Fireproof Your Marriage"

     A six-session study founded on Biblical principles for strong, God-centered, life long marriages.
    The study will be presented during Sunday School beginning on June 28.
